  • by

Greetings from the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC).

On behalf of the Governing Council and the entire leadership of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, I warmly extend my heartfelt New Year greetings to you.

The passing year was one of reflection, resilience, and renewed commitment to our shared mission of promoting mediation, conciliation, and alternative dispute resolution as indispensable tools for justice, peace, and sustainable development. I sincerely commend you, our distinguished members, for your professionalism, integrity, and steadfast dedication, which continue to elevate the standing and credibility of the Institute both nationally and internationally.

As we enter this New Year, we do so with a clear sense of purpose and optimism. The Institute remains firmly committed to strengthening institutional capacity, expanding professional training opportunities, ethical standards, and deepening strategic partnerships that advance the practice of mediation and conciliation across diverse sectors. Our focus will remain on innovation, inclusivity, and excellence as we respond to the evolving demands of dispute resolution in a rapidly changing global environment.

This year presents significant opportunities for growth and impact. I encourage every member to take full advantage of the Institute’s programmes, trainings, and professional development initiatives, and to remain active participants in our collective efforts. Your engagement is vital to sustaining the relevance, authority, and effectiveness of the Institute and to ensuring that we continue to serve as a leading voice in alternative dispute resolution.

In the months ahead, the leadership of the Institute will continue to work diligently to strengthen governance structures, promote transparency, and deliver initiatives that add tangible value to membership. Together, we can consolidate the gains achieved thus far and chart a progressive course for the future of the Institute.
